Science and Business

In Science and Business, you can pursue your two passions – study science while you develop the business skills that put you on an unstoppable career path!  You can select from one of four science specializations, or remain unspecialized and craft a personalized program to support your own career plans. 

A wide breadth of business courses, including marketing, economics and finance, equip you to go head-to-head with the best in business.  Add the experiential learning you get on co-op work placements and you will graduate work-ready and well-equipped to pursue further education in either science or business-related fields.

Biotechnology and Chartered Professional Accountancy (BIOTECH/CPA)

Offered in cooperation with the School of Accounting and Finance, the Biotechnology/Chartered Professional Accountancy degree is for future accountants that demand more from their education. Biotech/CPA students pursue a rigorous study of biotechnology, in addition to their accounting and financial management courses.

Successful candidates graduates are eligible to write the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) or the Master of Accounting (MAcc) Degree, both of which lead to the Common Final Examination (CFE) needed to achieve the CPA designation.
