In this 40-minute session, you'll hear from both Lisa and Yessenia Guerrero, who stepped into the role of president as of yesterday, and you'll have time to ask them questions about their plans for the UWSA.

Do your holiday shopping or just treat yourself to a range of items handmade by UW staff members, including chocolate, plushies, jewelry, knitting, planters, and more!

10% of all proceeds from the sale are donated to UWSA's student awards.

Swing by the Davis Centre lobby for a delicious hot chocolate on your way into the Craft Sale, where you can work on your holiday shopping or treat yourself to handmade crafts by UW staff members!

We are starting our compensation discussions with the university for a new salary agreement starting May 1, 2024, and we want to hear more from you about what you want to see achieved in this next round of talks. 

We’re hosting a salary town hall on Monday, December 11, from 12:30 to 1:50 p.m., during which we’ll explain the process that takes place at the Provost's Advisory Committee on Staff Compensation, and—more importantly—hear about your priorities for the upcoming discussions.

“Blue Monday” is the so-called “most depressing day of the year,” on the third Monday in January. While that may not exactly be true, this is a difficult time of year for many people, and we bet just about everyone could use cheering up!

If you could use some cheer or a treat, swing by the Hagey Hall Hub on Monday, January 15 between 11:30 and 1:30 for a cookie and a joke on us!

All staff at the School of Pharmacy are invited to join us February 13 between 11:30 and 1:00 in the boardroom on the 7th floor to get to know members of the UWSA Operations Team:

The March 2024 Area Representatives meeting features guest speakers Ron Champion and Jim Frank of the University of Waterloo Retirees Association.

The purpose of the Area Representatives committee is to exchange information about current issues facing staff at UW and to keep an open line of communication between the UWSA leadership and staff members across the University. All UWSA members are invited to attend this month's meeting.
