Registration is open for the 16^th annual Waterloo Staff Conference on April 10 and 11, 2024, hosted by Organizational and Human Development. This hybrid event features a lineup of fantastic keynote speakers and expert-led workshops.

The University of Waterloo Staff Association appoints dozens of staff members to University committees to represent the voice of staff. The UWSA also recruits volunteers, a board of directors, and a full-time president to help run the Association.

In this session, you'll hear from current UWSA volunteers and president Yessenia Guerrero about their experiences, and have a chance to ask questions. UWSA staff will also explain the process for applying for committees and running in elections.

The UWSA is looking forward to hosting Meaghan Ross (she) from Organizational and Human Development on May 10 and 24 where she’ll facilitate two custom workshops for UWSA volunteers and employees in which we will learn how to plan, run and participate in effective meetings – both within the UWSA, and as UWSA representatives on committees working across the University.
