The panel will discuss how these identities (also called social determinants of health) intersect and manifest themselves in the form of inequities; the effects of these intersecting identities and inequities on health, mental health, and wellbeing; protective strategies that are often employed to survive; and recommendations on how the University ought to support individuals with intersecting identities and promote equity.
