The WatCard Off-Campus Vendor program is intended to create partnerships with vendors in the community to enhance the services available to University of Waterloo students. In doing so, students have the ability to use funds on their WatCard to purchase goods and services in local businesses. Additionally, the program allows for University of Waterloo faculty and staff who have a WatCard to visit partnering establishments in the program.
The WatCard is the University of Waterloo’s comprehensive one card program, used for identification and to access many facilities and services both on and off campus. Students use it every day to purchase food, printing and books, to access the campus athletic facilities, libraries, and residences. Staff and faculty are encouraged to pick up a WatCard so they can also enjoy access to the services available around campus.
For more information about becoming an off-campus vendor, please email watcard@uwaterloo.ca to request information and an application.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
