    A fresh academic year means a fresh face to the University of Waterloo Geophysical Society (UWGS)! We will be holding our first meeting of the 2016-2017 academic year in the coming weeks.     The University of Waterloo Geophysical Society welcomes graduate students from the Science, Engineering and Mathematics faculties as it hosts its first workshop/seminar! This free workshop will be to introduce graduate students to writing using a very powerful tool known as LaTeX. The event will be a day long workshop with presentations and discussion.
