Undergraduate degrees

As an undergraduate student in Earth and Environmental Sciences, you will complete a universal first year before choosing to pursue a degree in either Earth Sciences or Environmental Sciences, each with three areas of specialization.

Earth and Environmental Sciences is home to the largest aviation program in Canada. Earn a degree in science while working toward your Integrated Airline Transport Pilots Licence.  

All undergraduate degrees can be completed as either a regular four-year program of study or as part of our highly-ranked co-op program.  

Graduate degrees

We offer master’s (MSc) and doctoral (PhD) degrees in Earth and Environmental Sciences with a general focus on Environmental Geology. Both programs can be completed on a full or part time basis with either a thesis-based or research paper option.  

These degrees can also be completed as part of the Collaborative Water Program, co-ordinated and supported by the Water Institute, which enables students to work with experts from various academic fields and industry.
