Rock Your LinkedIn Profile with Scotiabank
Would you benefit from a 1-on-1 LinkedIn Profile Critique? Are you in need of that perfect LinkedIn Profile picture? Scotiabank is hosting a LinkedIn workshop where recruiters will be going over tips and tricks to make your profile stand out. During the workshop, you will hear advice from industry workers, and then you can sip on some bubble tea and network! There will even be a photographer at the event to capture that perfect LinkedIn profile picture... so dress up and say cheese! This will be an in-person event. University COVID-19 protocols will be in place.

Grace Hopper Celebration 2022 Application
GHC is the world’s largest technical conference for women in computing. Every year, women technologists and the best minds in computing convene to highlight the contributions of women to computing. The Anita Borg Institute co-presents GHC with the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).
The conference provides exceptional networking and mentoring opportunities for attendees. Conference presenters are leaders in their respective fields, representing industry, academia and government. The conference also offers professional development through a variety of activities and workshops.
In 2022, we will be heading to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL for the Grace Hopper Celebration from September 20th - 23rd. Read more about GHC 22 at https://ghc.anitab.org/
Applicants must be on study term in Waterloo in Fall 2022. The application form will close on May 20th.

CSC - WICS Bonfire!
Come join CSC and WICS for a bonfire outside at the Laurel Creek firepit (across Ring. Rd. from EV3). Smores, snacks, and spooky stories are on us!
We'll have photographers at the event. If you're uncomfortable having your picture taken and/or shared on our social media, please be sure to let one of our photographers know!

WiCS Resume Critique with Meta
Will you be submitting applications for co-op or full-time opportunities this Summer? Looking for feedback on how to improve your application and resume? Look no further! Come to the WiCS Resume Critique event, where recruiters and mentors from Meta will provide valuable advice and tips on how to structure your cover letter and resume when applying for tech positions. Be sure to bring a copy of your resume to receive one-on-one feedback from company mentors!

WiCS Mock Interviews with Google
Looking for one-on-one interview feedback? Look no further! UW WiCS will be hosting mock interview sessions for undergraduate students with Google. This is a chance for you to brush up on those interview skills and learn valuable tips from mentors!
This event takes place on Wednesday June. 1st, from 4:00-5:30 PM ET.
