Early Undergraduate Research Information session: EREP/ UR2PhD Program
Are you a University of Waterloo student in your second year (2A) or beyond? Do you have a passion for computer science research and a curiosity that extends beyond the classroom? If so, we have an exciting opportunity just for you!
Join us for an Undergraduate Lunch and Learn session about the Early Undergraduate Research Experience Program (EREP/UR2PhD) offered by Computing Research Association (CRA) and University of Waterloo, designed to bridge the gap between undergraduate and graduate studies.

Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: DC 1302 or online
This is your chance to:

Dive into CS research early in your academic journey.

Earn credit for CS 398/399 courses while exploring innovative topics.

Receive mentorship from current graduate and PhD students who were once in your shoes.

Participate in two-hour weekly online classes with CRA to bolster your research skills.

Participate in a 1-hour weekly research meetup with everyone in the program.

Rewriting the Code (RTC) Networking Opportunities
RTC is a nonprofit organization empowering a free community of 26,000+ college and early career women in tech. Join us as a member or partner! They are a peer-to-peer network for students and junior professional women in tech. They are running a number of events this summer including Tech Hub meetups in different cities for those of you who are on co-op.

Calling All WiCS Members!
In celebration of the 2024 Pride Month, we invite you to contribute to our vibrant and inclusive digital collage: “Who is WiCS?” This collage aims to showcase the diverse souls and identities that make up our WiCS community.
Photo Submission: Send us a photo of anything that truly resonates with you as a WiCS member. It could be an illustration, a painting, a photo of you and your friends, or something as simple as a snapshot of your sticker collection. We are looking for anything that reflects your unique identity as a WiCS member!

TechNova: Empowering Women and Underrepresented Genders in Tech
TechNova is a Student Club dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation among women and other underrepresented genders in technology. Their annual hackathon brings together diverse minds from across the globe, providing an inclusive space where ideas transform into impactful projects. Last year's event saw over 200 hackers, 38 incredible project submissions, and $38,000+ worth of prizes!
