About our Ambassador - Influencer Team!
Technovation Student Ambassadors:
Student Ambassadors are Technovation alumnae who inspire and support girls and gender-diverse youth in their community through the Technovation Girls program. This exclusive group of 13–18-year-olds encourages peers to pursue STEM by promoting Technovation, recruiting participants, and offering mentorship. As former participants themselves, they bring a unique perspective and deep connection to the journey, making them influential role models for the next generation of girls and gender-dvierse youth in STEM. The Student Ambassador program is hosted by Technovation Global, and Student Ambassadors are a part of a global network of alumnae.
Technovation Waterloo Influencers:
Technovation Waterloo Influencers are Technovation Waterloo Alumnae (ages 12–18) who help to expand the program’s reach by engaging with schools, communities, and local events, while empowering girls and gender-diverse youth to create change using tech-based solutions. They also support and encourage new Technovation participants throughout their Technovation journey. Many individuals on our influencer team are also participating in the Technovation program and record their process and experience throughout their season. The Influencer program is exclusive to the Waterloo Chapter. It provides alumnae who still want to continue participating in the program an opportunity to be influential role models for the next generation of girls and gender-diverse youth in STEM!
Both Technovation Student Ambassadors and Influencers volunteer at various pre-season and youth events hosted by WiCS before and during the Technovation 2026 season. They are available to answer any questions you have about being a Technovation participant!
