As a child, my brain was always buzzing with ideas and endless questions. Is there such a thing as automatic windows that sense when it’s about to rain? Why do some people not help those in need? Is there a way to build tiny houses from solid pieces of garbage? Those ideas floated around in my mind without ever taking shape… until I discovered Technovation. It became the perfect outlet for my wild and far-fetched ideas and desire to make the world a better place. Through Technovation, I developed my personal skills, uncovered my interests and passions, and, most importantly, learned that I can make a difference. This is something I want every young girl to experience: the idea that you (yes, YOU!) can change the world for the better. Thank you to all the mentors, chapter ambassadors, student ambassadors, and everyone else who helped me along the way. I can’t wait to support the next generation of Technovation participants!
