Our distinguished guest speaker this year is Prof. Lindsay Bell of the Department of Anthropology at Western University who will be presenting a lecture entitled “Under Pressure: Diamonds and Everyday Life in a Northern Town”. This event will take place in HH 1102 with a reception to follow in HH 373.

Dr. Alexis Dolphin (Anthropology) and Dr. Andrew Doxey (Biology) are recipients of the 2022 Waterloo Interdisciplinary Trailblazer Fund.
Their project is titled "Reconstructing the origins and evolution of infectious diseases through ancient DNA metagenomics"
