About the Speaker
Velian Pandeliev is the coordinator of the User Experience Design (UXD) concentration for the University of Toronto's professional Master of Information program. With degrees in cognition & computation and human-computer interaction, Velian teaches at the intersection of design, technology, and understanding human experiences. In the past 8 years at the Faculty of Information, he has trained students from a range of backgrounds in UX processes, user insights, ethical design practices, accessible visual communication, and building a professional narrative. His research is in active learning pedagogies, unconventional grading methods, and technical and visual literacies.
