Design Days is a 2-day event held during Orientation week for new Architectural Engineering students. This way, students are engaged in hands-on experiential learning and engineering design from their first week on campus. Working within a team, students need to design and construct a piece of furniture out of cardboard and hydrostone. The final design and construction is pitched before a panel of judges on the second day, tested for strength and stability, and prizes awarded to the winning team.
