The University of Waterloo's Warrior Home Design Team was the only Canadian team represented at the US Department of Energy Solar Decathlon 2020 Build Competition and one of two remaining in the 2023 competition. It is a popular extracurricular technical team among our AE students. After three years of hard work, members of the Warrior Home design team were thrilled to finish second overall at the 2020 Build Challenge. They are preparing now for 2023.
AE students also actively participate in the CSCE/CISC steel bridge competition and the Waterloo Civil, Environmental, Architectural and Geological Studio Chapter (CEAGES).
