The University of Waterloo School of Architecture is a leader in design education and research.

Offering a fully cooperative professional program, Waterloo Architecture is the only Canadian school of architecture to have a permanent international facility, which has operated since 1979 in Rome, Italy. The school attracts top students from across Canada and around the world and has been rated the greenest architecture curriculum in Canada.

Jane Mah Hutton's keynote address at the 2022 Living Cities forum in Melboune, Australia is now online to view.

The 5th edition of the forum, organised by The Naomi Milgrom Foundation took place on Thursday 21 July and was based around the theme 'Material Flows'.

More information on this annual gathering of architects and urban thinkers to explore the role of design, planning and architecture in shaping our society can be found on their website.

School of Architecture students, Enoch Liu and Niara van Gaalen, created blueprints for potential Indigenous community hub for the redevelopment of the Charles Street Bus Terminal. They have been working together with Landback Camp to transform this space for the Indigenous community to connect and celebrate. They created a petition, which currently has over 3,000 signatures and is only growing.
