Waterloo Architecture’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

Friday, July 21, 2017 5:00 pm - 5:00 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

You are invited to a gathering at the Gardiner Museum this Friday, July 21st, from 5pm to 8pm.

Over the past few months, a group of students worked on the activation of the Front Plaza of the Gardiner Museum. On Friday, as part of the final event at the Museum, their project and the question of public space more generally will be the topic of a panel discussion involving Waterloo students, faculty and graduates.

The evening is an opportunity to celebrate Waterloo Architecture’s presence in Toronto, as The Evidence Room is also opened across the street, at the Royal Ontario Museum. It is one moment in a series of events that is bringing Waterloo Architecture alumni together in this year that marks the 50th anniversary of the University of Waterloo School of Architecture.

If you would like to attend the panel discussion and join for some conversation, food and drinks at the Gardiner Museum, please register.

For those of you who would also wish to see The Evidence Room at the ROM, we would be delighted to guide you through the exhibition at 4pm. For the visit at the ROM, please RSVP to Nicole Guenther.
