Get the Most out of your Windows Laptop
Optimize your Machine!
Laptops’ capabilities are limited by their constrained design. As usage time piles up and the device’s speed slows down, laptop users do not have luxury of simply replacing old, outdated components as easily as a Windows desktop. Some high-end laptops have the option to swap-out/upgrade certain components, but at a cost that no average user would pay for. Luckily, there are many simple ways to optimize your laptop to give it a performance boost and a longer life before you have to spend any money for an upgrade.

Portable file storage for school
Take What you Need With you Everywhere
If you are a student looking to back up your files or move them around, you have a few options. You could use a cloud storage solution such as Dropbox or Microsoft Skydrive, but you have to rely on there being an Internet connection available. Also, these services only give you a limited amount of free space. If you have a lot of files or are concerned about the privacy implications of storing your files remotely, Universal Serial Bus's (USB) and portable hard drives may be a better solution for you.

However access, the last part of the puzzle, is not doing so well. Internet speed in particular is behind the curve. That could change soon though.
