Resources for Faculty and staff

Faculty and staff are entitled to a username@uwaterloo.ca e-mail account.

Staff and faculty with computers in their offices may be eligible for a Nexus account to use Windows lab workstations across campus.

Staff and faculty who require personal web space should contact acohelp@uwaterloo.ca.

For help with Waterloo Content Management System (WCMS) web sites, visit IST's Web Resources site.

Waterloo LEARN is the online course environment offered at University of Waterloo.  Support for Waterloo LEARN can be found by e-mailing learnhelp@uwaterloo.ca or contacting your faculty's Centre for Teaching Excellence (CTE) liaison.

Printing

Please review the Printing Cost Analysis document when considering departmental printing needs.

For more information about the features of your Xerox copier/Workcentre (i.e. scanning, fax, secure printing) there is a LaserNetworks sticker on the machine with the company's contact. 

If you encounter problems printing on your department printer/copier please contact the Arts Computing Office (ACO) Help Desk.

This type of account is approved and provided by the ACO for those who need administrative access to their computers. To learn more please see our information page on system administrator accounts.
