What is happening?
Remote desktop access to Arts physical labs is being removed.
When is this happening?
Tuesday April 19th, 4pm
How are users effected?
Users will no longer be able to use Remote Desktop to access any Arts Computing Labs. Our labs are open for users physically on campus. All software is still available through Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
Why is this happening?
During the beginning of the pandemic, IST negotiated a discretionary exemption with Microsoft to allow remote logins to our physical lab stations. That agreement ends this month. Arts Computing is removing that access, which was provided through Labstats, Tuesday April 19th.
