You've heard LinkedIn is extremely impactful. How so? Let's explore your impact together. This workshop covers the basics of building a LinkedIn profile, tips on what to include in each section to help you stand out to employers and recruiters, as well as building your network on the platform.

Are you applying for a faculty/lecturer/postdoc position? In this interactive workshop, you'll learn how to prepare an effective curriculum vitae (CV) as well as how to write a professional and compelling cover letter for academic positions.

Interested in joining the campus housing team? This workshop will guide you through the application process step-by-step. Learn how to craft a standout resume, write a compelling one-page cover letter, and confidently respond to both written and video application questions.

Understanding your skills and how you want to use them is a big part of the career decision making process. In this workshop, we will engage in a few reflections to help you identify skills you're gaining from your grad studies and postdoc and how those might influence your career choices.

This 1-hour workshop is to support folks navigating the job search in a challenging economy. We'll begin by "taking the pulse" of how learners are feeling and acknowledging the broader economic factors that may be impacting their search. From there, we'll focus on what learners can control-exploring practical, proven job search strategies to expand networking efforts, target their job search, and make meaningful connections. Through guided reflection and actionable tips, learners will leave feeling more empowered, confident, and prepared to take the next steps in their job search with clarity and purpose.
