This is the annual conference of the Department of Germanic and Slavic Studies. Keynote Speakers are Prof. Dr. Beate Henn-Memmesheimer from Universität Mannheim and German filmmaker and artist Marc Bauder. You can read more about it over at their website.

The Waterloo Colloquium on Language Teaching and Learning is the final part of the Certificate in University Language Teaching (CULT) workshops held this term. All are welcome to attend. Please download the schedule here.

The Waterloo Centre for German Studies hosted this international conference at the University of Waterloo. It brought together scholars from North American and European universities whose research investigated various facets of the post-secondary curriculum for teaching and learning German as a foreign and/or second language and culture.

The Annual Conference of the Austrian Studies Association is being held at the University of Waterloo. Co-sponsored by the Association, the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo, the Waterloo Centre for German Studies, and the Austrian Cultural Forum, the conference brings together students and scholars from across North America and Europe.
