Magnesium, 12, Golden Valley High School, New York, USA
Magnesium: In our picture, we created a rock concert to show the presence of magnesium throughout the world. The focal points are the pyrotechnics and white fireworks. Our group added these objects because they contain magnesium, and magnesium burns white. We also placed a flashlight, automotive rims, a camera and thermometers on the shirts and in the hands of our concert goers because magnesium is present in all of these items. Finally, we created the atomic number of magnesium with grizzly paws to represent the school that our group proudly attends, Golden Valley High School, just North of Los Angeles, California.
