Justin Shmordok discusses why he chose to study Chemistry and his doctoral research

In a recent article published by the Faculty of Science, Justin Shmordok, a doctoral student in the Department of Chemistry (Dr. Sonny Lee’s group), discusses why he chose to study Chemistry, as well as his research in the fundamental process of biological nitrogen fixation.

Justin is active within the University of Waterloo community. He founded the GWC^2 EDI-I committee and is co-social representative of the Chemistry Graduate Student Society. Justin is also a recent recipient of the Amit & Meena Chakma Award for Exceptional Teaching by a Student.
