Enzymes

- Prerequisite: Level at least 3A; CHEM 331 or CHEM 333
The underlying principles of enzymatic catalysis (with examples such as protein dynamics and electrostatics) will be discussed along with discussion of techniques that are applied to this area. A survey of the mechanisms of selected members of the six classes of enzymes will also be presented.
