May Nemat Allah: Faculty of Arts Featured Graduate

Congratulations to May Nemat Allah, who is the Faculty of Arts featured graduate for Spring 2021 convocation. May thrives on working collaboratively and setting the stage for marginalized voices to be heard. Though she initially enrolled in biology and chemistry at the beginning of her undergraduate degree, she fell in love with the collaborative nature of theatre and graduates this week with her BA Honours Co-op. 

“It’s my dream to become someone who can support the creation of impactful theatre, accessible theatre and theatre that decentralizes Western voices and centralizes marginalized and unheard voices. I think I can really do that as I learn more.”

May will continue her journey at the NTS (National Theatre School) in Montreal, specializing in Production Design and Technical Arts.
