Emma Alderman holds a BFA in Performance Production from Ryerson University.
Emma began their career in the performing arts at the Bella Rose Arts Centre in Halifax Nova Scotia where they worked in front of house as well as a stage manager, technical director, and production manager.
Emma moved to Toronto to complete their BFA and had the opportunity after graduation to travel to continue their training in technical production at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.
Since then Emma has had the opportunity to freelance, mainly as a Production Manager and Technical Director, for a variety of theatre productions and live events. Some selected events and companies include Grease Toronto at the Winter Garden Theatre, Against the Grain Theatre, Factory Theatre, Hart House Theatre at U of T, George Brown College at the Young Centre for the Arts, Pride Toronto and, Honest Ed’s Farewell Bash.
Emma enjoys giving back to the entertainment community in their free time and has had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer member at large on both the National and Ontario Provincial board for CITT/ICTS.
