Additional Information
Kwabena is a postdoctoral fellow working with Professor Dawn Parker in the School of Planning. He is involved with integrated project models for the RISE project, that examines the impact of residential land developments on climate change mitigation with special attention to terrestrial-aquatic interaction effects. He is fascinated with modelling and analysis of complex ecological and socio-economic systems using different quantitative methods, ranging from numerical to statistical models in light of empirical or experimental data (with applications on sustainability, human behavior, and climate change). Prior to joining Waterloo, he completed a Postdoctoral position (AIMS-Senegal) and a Ph.D. in Mathematics (University Cheikh Anta Diop-Senegal, 2020) with a focus on data analysis and mathematical modelling of the ecological and socioeconomic conditions under which fishermen cooperate toward sustainable resource management.
