Who is in ISG?
The Instructional Support Group (ISG) is an integral part of the University of Waterloo's Cheriton School of Computer Science comprised of
- Instructional Support Coordinators (ISCs),
- Instructor/Coordinators,
- Instructional Support Assistants (ISAs),
- Teaching Assistants (TAs),
- Instructional Apprentices (IAs),
and is managed by the Undergraduate Studies Manager.
Who do we support?
We coordinate faculty, student, and staff support for courses listed on the right.
These courses we support have one or more of the following characteristics:
- large enrolments
- more than one section
- a portion of the final grade comes from a lab component
- the labs are scheduled by the Registrar's Office
- the course instructors change often.
