All buildings now closed

Update for students

To follow provincial emergency orders to close non-essential businesses, we have now closed all academic buildings.

Unfortunately, over the last week or more, we have seen small numbers of people gathering in groups larger than five people in spaces and buildings that were open. Practising physical distancing is a responsibility that the University is taking seriously.

Update about your spring 2020 class schedule

Update for undergraduate students

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, we made the important decision to proceed with Spring Term 2020 with no in-person course activity. This means that we will hold all classes and exams online (with the exception of CLIN and PRA courses).

We want you to have a quality learning experience at Waterloo during these times of unprecedented change. We also want to make sure that you can continue to make progress towards earning your degree.
