Changes to COVID safety protocols

Update for students

  • We are making some changes to safety protocols for people who come to campus.
  • If anyone in your household has symptoms of COVID-19 or is waiting for COVID test results, you must self-isolate and not come to campus.
  • You may need to wear medical grade masks if you can’t maintain physical distancing while you work or study.

Resuming limited campus operations in provincial COVID-19 Red zone

Update for undergraduate students

  • The Region of Waterloo is now in the Red – Control zone of the province’s COVID-19 framework
  • Limited in-person course activity will resume on February 22
  • Some campus services and operations will resume to pre-holiday break levels

Update for students

  • In-person learning that was previously suspended for the stay-at-home order will resume on Monday, February 22, pending confirmation of the government’s instructions. 
  • We strongly advise you to avoid any travel over reading week.

  • We encourage you to wear a mask at all times in public places.
