Two scholarships, valued at up to $15,000 each, will be provided annually to international graduate students registered full time in their first term of a research-based master’s program in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (MME) in the Faculty of Engineering.
Engineering
A scholarship, valued at $4,000, will be awarded annually to a full-time graduate student enrolled in the Sustainable Energy specialization of the Master of Engineering (MEng) program in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering.
Three scholarships valued at $10,000 each will be provided annually to international graduate students who are or will be registered full-time in a research-based master’s or doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering.
Awards valued at $10,000 each will be automatically provided to international students admitted to and registered full-time in a course-based master’s program in one of the following departments in the Faculty of Engineering: Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering.
An award, valued at $4,500, will be provided annually to a third- or fourth-year undergraduate student or a student enrolled in a graduate program within the Faculty of Engineering (excluding the School of Architecture). Selection will be based on academic excellence combined with the pursuit of an international co-op placement or internship that is providing minimal pay.
A scholarship valued at $5,000 will be provided to a full-time domestic graduate student entering first year of the doctoral program in any department in the Faculty of Engineering.
The Buitrago Contingency Bursary in Engineering is available to international students registered full-time in a master’s or doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering.
One scholarship, valued at $15,000, will be provided annually to a graduate student registered full-time in the Master’s or Doctoral program in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering; preference will be given to doctoral candidates.
Several bursaries, valued at $500 - $3,500 each, will be awarded annually to full-time graduate students enrolled in the Masters program in the School of Architecture who are in good academic standing and have financial need.
An award valued at $500 will be awarded annually to a graduate student in the Master of Engineering program who has demonstrated academic excellence.
