Award description:
Awards valued at $10,000 each will be automatically provided to international students admitted to and registered full-time in a course-based master’s program in one of the following departments in the Faculty of Engineering: Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, and Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering. Awards will be paid across the first three active academic terms (terms 1.0 – 3.0). All payments are contingent upon the recipient being assessed international tuition and remaining enrolled full-time in the program in which they were admitted.

Eligibility & selection criteria

  • Full-time international graduate students starting their MEng program in Fall 2026 or later in the following departments: Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Students must have met the minimum average required for admission to the program (Nonstandard and probationary admission are not eligible for consideration).
  • Students must have a valid study permit and be assessed international tuition.
  • Application is not required.
