Award description:

The goal will be to provide one scholarship valued at $7,500 or two scholarships each valued at $3,750 annually to full-time graduate students entering graduate studies in the Computational Mathematics Graduate Program in the Faculty of Mathematics. This fund is made possible by a donation from the Fong Education Foundation Limited. Mr. Eddie Fong (BMath ’80) has enjoyed an extremely successful career and is pleased to support his alma mater.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 

  • Selection will be made on the basis of academic excellence (minimum 80%) as well as demonstrated interest in computational and/or industrial mathematics.
