Award description:
Scholarships, valued at $12,000 per year for a maximum of two years, will be awarded annually to students who will be registered full time in the doctoral program in the School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Mathematics. Students will be automatically considered when they apply for admission to the PhD program, based on academic excellence and potential for their research to be internationally competitive. These scholarships are funded by an endowment established by the Government of Ontario, Canada Foundation for Innovation, and Bell Emergis.
Value description:
Each scholarship is valued at $12,000 per year ($4,000 per term) for up to two years.
Eligibility & selection criteria:
- Students must be registered full time in the doctoral program in the School of Computer Science in the Faculty of Mathematics
- Students will be automatically considered based on their application for admission to the program, based on academic excellence and potential for their research to be internationally competitive
- This scholarship can be be held in conjunction with other scholarships or earnings
- Recipients will receive this scholarship for a maximum of two years provided they continue to be enrolled full time and remain in good academic standing in their PhD program.
