Award description:
Scholarships, valued at up to $2,500, will be awarded annually to graduate students registered full-time in the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts. Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum cumulative average of 80%) at the time of admission to the program. The Department of Political Science will identify candidates and select recipients normally each Spring.

Value description:
 The value and/or number of Awards may vary from year to year depending on available funds. Awards will have a minimum value of $500, and a maximum value of $2,500.

Eligibility & selection criteria: 

  • Full-time graduate students enrolled in the Department of Political Science in the Faculty of Arts.
  • Selection to be based on academic excellence at the time of admission (minimum cumulative average of 80%).
  • The Department of Political Science Admission Committee will identify eligible candidates and select recipients normally during the Spring term.
  • The award will be made available to recipients in the Fall term.
