Please join us for a birds of prey presentation hosted by the Mountsberg Raptor Centre on Tuesday, February 5th in the Ecology Lab (EV1-131). We will be hosting two sessions 2:30pm and 4pm. Each session will run for 1 hour.
Join Yousef Arafeh as he teaches us about the world of spiders! Learn the anatomy, behaviour and basic features to help us identify spiders!

The Ecology group will be holding a research 'permits' workshop on Wednesday 07 February from 2-4PM in STC 1019. This workshop will provide an opportunity to hear from fellow students, faculty, and staff about applying for permits. For example, we will have members present with experience writing permits for federal and provincial research, including research in parks and protected areas, University Animal Care, and Safety Office. Come with your questions or advice, because we hope to hear from everyone present!
Just in time for Halloween, join Yousef Arafeh as he leads us in a “World of Spiders” workshop on Wednesday November 1st, from 1:00pm-3:00pm in EV1-134! The workshop will focus on anatomy and characteristics used to identify spiders. Goodies will be provided!
