Celebrate Waterloo Engineering!

Come show your spirit and get your purple on! 

The tradition continues on July 12, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm to celebrate Engineering Day with our incredible community of students, alumni, professors and staff. This year's activities will include a colour throw (wear a white t-shirt!), BBQ featuring the famous 'Boggan Burgers, free treats and refreshments including purple Koolaid as well as soft-serve ice cream and popcorn, a photo booth, The Tool and The Tool Bearers, and so much more!

EWB Elora Quarry Adventure

Elora Quarry

Elora Quarry is a swimming spot only half an hour from Waterloo! Buy a ticket for a day of fun on the beach and in the water. Your ticket includes transportation from the University of Waterloo to Elora Quarry and back, as well as admission to the park! All proceeds from this event go towards the It Takes a Village campaign, which supports social enterprises in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Problem Pitch Competition open for applications

The Problem Lab presents the Quantum Valley Investments® Problem Pitch. The competition invites teams of up to four students to choose an important industry problem and thoroughly research its history, scope, and impact. Students pitch their findings to a panel of judges on July 11th to compete for a share of up to $30,000 in funding.
