Conduct electrical and computer engineering research at the cutting edge of quantum information science.
With the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) as a world-leader in quantum information research, Waterloo is becoming known as “Quantum Valley” – the epicentre of the next information revolution.
In this program, you will work under the supervision of an Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty member, while gaining perspectives from other disciplines in IQC.
Waterloo Engineering offers this collaborative program to Master of Applied Science (MASc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) students in Electrical and Computer Engineering. You may need to take additional courses to fulfill requirements in quantum information.
