Referencing the study of rapid eye movements (saccades) and short, subsequent stops in between (fixations), Fixations & Saccades brings together a selection of recent work by six multidisciplinary artists whose process is grounded in abstraction.
Techsthetic is an exhibition of interactive artworks resulting from a collaboration between Fine Arts and Engineering students in the Tech Art course (Fine 392/GenE 499) is on display at the Critical Media Lab, 44 Gaukel Street, Kitchener. The exhibition runs from Wednesday April 6th to Saturday April 9th, 12-5 pm.
The closing party is Friday April 8th from 6-10 pm.

The Department of Fine Arts and UWAG present the second of two thesis exhibitions by MFA candidates from the graduate program in Fine Arts at the University of Waterloo. MFA Thesis gives the campus and community-at-large an opportunity to see the end result of two years of intensive research and studio production by emerging visual artists.

Jennifer Byrnes in one of two artists to receive the first annual student Thesis Award, a collaboration between Graven Feather, ARTiculations and Akin Collective. This is a juried award open to graduating students from post secondary universities and colleges.
The winners receive a two week solo exhibition at ARTiculations in Toronto from May 1st to May 15th 2016.

Our current Master of Fine Arts (MFA) students are holding an open studio on Thursday January 14th from 4 to 7 PM. The MFA Open Studios are a unique opportunity to view the work and meet the artists in a casual setting.
