Clone of Trash Day

Wednesday, December 14, 2016 8:30 am - 8:30 am EST (GMT -05:00)

Any personal property not picked up by 8:30 AM on December 14, 2016 will be THROWN IN THE GARBAGE.

If you wish to keep your stuff (artwork, personal belongings and raw materials) you must pick up it all up before Trash day! Anything left in the: studios, lockers, hallways, cubbies, alcoves and closets will be thrown out on Wednesday, December 14, 2016.

This year Trash Day extends to digital files too. If you have any files saved on the computers in the Mac Lab (ECH 1205) these will also be deleted on Trash Day. Make sure to copy any files you wish to keep on to your N drive or to an external hard-drive/usb thumb drive before it is too late!  THIS INCLUDES ALL NON-FINE ARTS COURSES

Please make sure you have returned any and all Fine Arts property by Trash Day, including all tools, multimedia equipment, office supplies, DVDs, or anything else that you may currently have in your possession. Return all equipment to the Fine Arts Tool Shed (ECH 1226) during normal business hours.

Any outstanding loans after Trash Day will result in the termination of your borrowing privileges from the Fine Arts Department for a minimum period of six months and you will be charged through your UW student account for the replacement costs of the property you do not return!

Any multimedia equipment (cameras, projectors, TVs, lights, etc…) outstanding beyond the Normal Borrowing Period is subject to the loss of your security deposit. Multimedia equipment belonging to the Fine Arts Department should be returned as soon as possible to avoid the loss of your deposit(s).

Access to the building will only be during regular business hours after Trash Day. All door codes to the studios (interior and exterior doors) in the Fine Arts Department will be changed on the morning of trash day. You will be unable to pick-up your work on or after Trash day. Don’t leave it to the last minute! Everything will be thrown away!

Any questions about Trash Day should be directed to the Fine Arts technicians, Adam Glover or Rick Nixon, in the Wood Shop (East Campus Hall Room 1227).
