Any artwork or personal property remaining in Fine Arts classrooms, studios, labs, hallways, lockers or storage areas at 8:30 AM on December 11, 2025 will be THROWN IN THE GARBAGE.
You will be unable to retrieve your work and/or personal property during or after Trash Day; if you wish to keep your stuff (artwork, personal belongings and raw materials) you must remove it from ECH before Trash day! Anything left in the studios, lockers, hallways, cubbies, alcoves and closets will be thrown out on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 8:30 a.m.
Please also make certain that you have returned all Fine Arts department tools, cameras, projectors, tripods, office supplies, books, DVDs, etc. that are in your possession by Trash Day. All items can be returned to the Fine Arts Tool Crib (ECH 1226) during the posted schedule on the door, or to one of the staff in the Wood Shop (ECH 1227), Media Desk (ECH 2102), or Visual Resource Centre (ECH 1216) during regular business hours. Any outstanding Fine Arts loans in your possession after Trash Day will result in replacement costs being charged to you through your UW student account.
After Trash Day, all Fine Arts studios, shops and labs will be closed until classes start again on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Students are not permitted to use the Fine Arts facilities between terms.
