vinyl
cutting
workshop.
NOTE:
All
practice
materials
(vinyl)
and
surfaces
(hard
plastic
+
textile)
will
be
provided.
However
If
you
wish
to
apply
vinyl
to
something
specific,
please
bring
it
to
the
workshop
and
we
can
discuss
best
methods/techniques
Students will learn:
- how to prepare an illustration for vinyl cutting
- basic principles of working a vinyl cutting machine
- materials and tools necessary for vinyl application
- vinyl application techniques [dry + wet methods / 2-colour registration / textile applications]
- vinyl removal
Students may choose the morning (9:00-11:20 am) session or the afternoon (1:00-3:20 pm). A signup sheet is posted on the front office door, ECH 1206.
