Alum Maria Simmons (MFA '21) is part of a cross-Atlantic, artistic collaboration on view at KWAG

Fine Arts Alum Maria Simmons (MFA '21) is part of an audio-visual collaboration, Land Bodies, Decomposing Mass, on display at the Kitchener-Waterloo Art Gallery from February 21 to June 28.  Maria, along with artists Fabian Lanzmaier, Ingrid Bjørnaali, Simon Daniel Tegnander Wenzel, visited peat bogs in Finland, Estonia, Norway and Canada to explore the embodiment and translation of peat-land knowledge through blending physical engagement with digital interpretations.
