Since recently retiring from the Fine Arts department, Doug Kirton has spent his time painting in his studio. The results can be seen in his new exhibition, Out Here, at the Michael Gibson Gallery, 157 Carling Street, London, Ontario. The new paintings are inspired by the local landscapes that Doug has visited, and are intended to give the sensation of being imbedded in the landscape
The exhibition runs from September 19 to October 26, 2024 with an opening reception on Saturday, September 21 from 2-4pm.
