Fine Arts Alum Catherine Telford Keogh (BA '09) has received the inaugural Jack Galef Visual Arts Award from the Guggenheim Museum. The award of $50 000 is devoted to sculptors and installation artists and will be awarded biennially to support and celebrate “artists of exceptional talent whose work demonstrates innovation, depth, and vision.”
After graduating with her Honours BA from Waterloo in 2009, Catherine completed two graduate degrees at Yale – one in Fine Arts and one in Women Gender and Sexuality Studies. She is currently a faculty member at Parsons School of Design at The New School in New York as well as maintaining an active artistic practice.
