An article in Waterloo News profiles Fine Arts Alum Rachel Jung (BA ’23) who is the Multimedia and Design Specialist with the UWaterloo Life team. In this role, they are endeavouring to create spaces where art isn’t just seen but felt.
The article also mentions The Great Gaggle, an original art installation in the Student Life Centre’s Black and Gold room, featuring Canadian geese in an array of colours and designs which was created by Rachel in 2023. The artwork was then transformed into a format of rainbow-coloured geese that appear on campus lawns throughout the month of June to mark Pride month.
