This year’s Lumen Festival in Uptown Waterloo happens Saturday September 24th, 6-11 pm and includes the work of several University of Waterloo Fine Arts Alumi.

Amber Lee Williams (MFA 2022) will be presenting Clouds and Storms in the department’s airstream trailer, a project curated by Lauren Prousky (MFA 2019), and Ashley Guenette (MFA 2022) is one of three artists presenting Chain Links, a project curated by Mark Walton and Conan Stark (Fine Arts BA, 2002).

Both projects are happening near the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery at 25 Caroline Street North, Waterloo, ON. Visit the Lumen Festival website for more information and festival maps.

Lumen is an annual, free, all-ages festival that is open to the public and run by the City of Waterloo’s Arts and Culture team, Create Waterloo. The event features the work of artists as they explore the interplay of light, art, and technology in installations located throughout uptown Waterloo.
