Valleyhome Books has published two new volumes of papers by Distinguished Professor Emerita Nancy-Lou Patterson on the subject of detective fiction and science fiction and fantasy. The volumes are part of a series co-edited by Emily E. Auger and Janet Brennan Croft.

Nancy-Lou was a professor in the Fine Arts department from 1962 until her retirement in 1992, teaching art history and studio while working as an artist, poet, and fiction writer. She was also an enthusiastic conference participant and scholar who published numerous papers on her favourite subject: the Inklings, a literary group associated with Oxford University that included Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien, and associated authors, such as Dorothy L. Sayers.

Many of Nancy-Lou's papers on C.S. Lewis's fiction were published in Ransoming the Wasteland Volumes I and II. These two new volumes present her papers on the detective fiction of Dorothy L. Sayers and her many book reviews on Inklings and fantasy authors.  These collections are available as Kobo ebooks and in hard copy from Amazon and Lulubooks.
