Fine arts alumna Natalie Hunter (MFA 2013) was awarded the commission to create a public art piece for the Bridgeport Community Centre. This is part of the City of Kitchener’s public art program to install site-specific works of art at newly renovated and constructed facilities.
Pieces of Light will be produced as translucent, backlit, digital prints on clear acrylic panels and located on the front of the community centre, facing Tyson Drive. Installation is planned for next spring.
For more information about the work in progress see the article in The Record.
